Café Osiris

Project overview

Together with Overpriced, we built the new website for Café Osiris — one of the few cafés in Riga that still holds on to the spirit of the city as it was in the early 1990s. We replaced their 18-page WordPress site with a single editorial page: a printed-poster feel with opening hours, contact details and photographs from the café's archive.

Less to click through, more character: everything a guest needs, presented the way the café itself would.

Scope of work

Here's what we focused on throughout the project:

• Webflow development
  Built the one-page site with a sticky split layout on desktop and a natural single-column flow on mobile.
• Table reservations
  Integrated the Tablein booking widget in a modal that loads only when a guest opens it, keeping the page fast.
• Migration
  Redirected the old WordPress URLs and planned the domain cutover so nothing broke along the way — including the café's email.
• Local SEO
  Added structured data describing the café, its address and opening hours so search engines present it correctly.

The result is a website as distinctive as the café — simple, confident, and unmistakably Osiris.
